Everyday is a new adventure

Tall one and Small one met in New Zealand, in the kiwi fruit orchards of Tauranga back in early 2009. From there spent 2 years travelling across Australia together; penniless in Sydney, 15 hour shifts in a Blue Mountains Hotel, picking Blueberries with spiders in Coff's Harbour – watermelons with snakes in Charters Towers, pushing their campervan, 'Tony' through the flood waters of Miriam Vale, breaking down in every state through the outback, and working and drinking side by side in an Irish Pub and Backpackers in Melbourne.

Across the globe through Vietnam, Thailand & Moscow before spending a year in Canada; through the seasons in Toronto, 35 hour Greyhound buses across the provinces, dog sledding in the Rocky Mountains, shovelling 3 foot snow in the Yukon, Kayaking in Haida Gwaii, sharing a beer among the icebergs of Newfoundland and spotting whales in Nova Scotia.

Before returning to New Zealand in Oct 2012 to live the beach life in Mount Maunganui, experience the earthquakes of Wellington and finally getting married on Te Ahumairangi Hill, Wellington in Oct 2013. Finally on 2nd Oct 2013 they embarked on an 80 day honeymoon back across the globe, through the south island of New Zealand, up to Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and finally through north India before returning to Ireland, where they are now attempting to make a home in Galway. Many miles travelled together, many sights shared together, everyday is the start of a new adventure.

A wee update FROM the life of Paddy

He bought a moped, let it fall after 24hrs and done his hip in. What a shame we never got travel insurance....lol. You can take the boy out of Dublin but not Dublin out of the boy...lol. We are all moving in together next month. Gonna go live in auckland for a few months. Our 3 months Kiwi picking is coming to an end (THANK GOD). So at least we can now extend the visa and stay in this amazing country a wee bit longer.

Even the longest of journeys begins with the 1st step!

Johannes and Sara arrived back to Tauranga last night. We did miss them over the last few weeks. We 1st met them in The Ducks Nuts Hostel back in Feb. They then went down south for 5 weeks. So last night we wet their German heads as a big welcome back. I don't remember anything past 9pm as we started drinking at 5pm.10 beers and 3 vodkas was my limit. Yes I know thats bad going for an Irish man but since we got to this wee town we've not had to many nights out so I've kinda lost my grove. I'll get it back once I'm back in the arms of wee Paddy. (Auckland May 20th) So today we headed off to Coromandel to see Catherdral Cove. What an amazing place it is. Daz said it would take a little over an hour to drive their. So 3 hours later we arrived. Thanks Daz!!!! It was worth the drive though. We stopped off for dinner on the way down. A Turkish kebab each. Hmmmmmmm. For some strange reason Shaun thought it would be a good idea to eat a veggie kebab. WHAT THE FECK!!! I shit you not I've never seen the lad so unhappy in all his life. To be fair his mother would of been over the moon to see him eating his greens but the look on his face will stay with me forever. I know your all now asking why he went for a veggie kebab......well Johannes and Sara are both VEGGIES.........FREAKS.....and they got Shaun to try one out. Its the last time he'll do that.
